Comparing indian Tribes of the Americas

Societies around the world currently exist thanks to the different Indian tribes who have lived since last. In spite of the Miami tribe and the tribe Chibcha have habited the same continent; they have more differences than similarities.

Rituals

Miamis had a characteristic that distinguished from other tribes. They ate their prisoners toasted in front of other people. In contrast, the Chibchas had a ritual in which the chief covered his body with dust of gold and they dives into the Lake Guatavita. Also, they danced and they did offerings to the sun and the moon, they prayed to the rainbow, the spirit of evil and the god of drunkenness for newborns and marriages too. Moreover, before a marriage, the priest had to purify in the water

When the man Miamis wanted to marry, they made the proposal to women and they had a religious ceremony. While in the Chibcha tribe, the boyfriend offered corn or a deer for his girlfriend.

In the Chibcha tribe When a person died, it was surrounded by food, blankets and gold, depending on economic conditions of the dead. However in the Miami tribe, the indios danced near the dead.

Entertainment

In spite of that the gambling, the bowl game, Shooting an arrow to some objects and games of strength and skill were very popular for Miamis, the favourite game for Chibchas was the racing competition.

Hero

To Miami tribe came one of the greatest leaders and warriors in the history of the United States - I-che-may-qua-noch. He was a very brave man. He became the leader of the tribe. Since that he arrived at the head of his nation until his death, he was a hero of his tribe. On the contrary, in the Chibcha tribe, people considered as hero to Bochica who teached to them love for their work, respect for the laws and honesty.

Colonization allowed the death of American Indians


Miami and Mohegan tribes lived in North America, although they inhabited different states. In spite of both tribes were characterized by the same remarkable event which was the death of many people caused by illnesses, Miami and Mohegan tribes had as many similarities as differences.

The first similarity between the two tribes is that Miami and Mohegan tribes suffered illnesses such as smallpox and measles. Another similarity is that the epidemics which affected both tribes were the result of the colonization. The final similarity between miamis and mohegans is that nowadays the members of both tribes are living as citizens in different cities under each state government. Based on the last similarities, we can know that the colonization caused relevant changes in the history of the world.

In the second place, we are going to name the differences between Miami and Mohegan tribes. The first difference is that when people of both tribes were sick, the eighty percent of miamis died. In contrast the thirty percent of mohegans died. The second difference is that the epidemics arrived to Miami tribe in 1658 while in the Mohegan tribe the epidemics arrived in 1634. The final difference between the two tribes is that the chief of miamis died. On contrary, the chief of mohegans survived. According to las information both tribes had relevant events which contributed to the development of our culture.

To sum up, It’s important to remember that colonization was the most fatal event for native American tribes because after the majority of tribes on the continent lost their tradition, religion and culture that gave as a result the extinction of their essence.

Miami tribe is one of the tribes which live in America. In the past, they lived near lake Michigan. Nowadays, they live in Oklahoma and Indiana. In this essay, I will tell you some causes and effects about their existence.

First cause the Miami tribe’ existence is that they in the past were divided in six main groups and each one has been increasing with new members.

The Miami tribe’ existence in Oklahoma and Indiana is the result of hard wars and hard work. In addition, they knew how use their weapons and tools for they could hunt and ate their food.

Another cause of their existence is that they have evolved so much and they today must obey to laws and government because they live in the city now.

In conclusion, Miami tribe is an example for us because they show us that it is possible reach our goals. Moreover, they show us that they are a worker tribe and they will exist for a long time.

The musical World has allowed that famous pople change their lifestyle. In spite of Carlos Vives and Michael Jackson are singers, they have more differences than similarities.

Both singers are successful and famous people. In addition, they are excellent dancers and artist. Another similarity between Carlos Vives and Michael Jackson is that both have sons. In addition, both stars are men.

Otherwise, Carlos Vives is witty person. In contrast, Michael Jackson has problems in his personality. Another difference between the singers is that Vives help children while Jackson doesn’t like the boys and girls. Moreover, the physical appearance of Carlos Vives is different to physical appearance of Michael Jackson. The final difference between the famous is their nationality, so Vives is a Colombian singer while Michael Jackson is an American singer.

Even though both singers Carlos Vives and Michael Jackson are very recognised in the world, the second is more famous than the first because he has more experience in the musical field than the other singer.
